This is a meeting of delegates from all 27 Member States, the Commission and the Council Secretariat who are responsible for the EU’s common policy on the trade in services.

The delegates meet informally once during each Presidency in the Presidency country. At the informal meeting the delegates can discuss topics and issues concerning the EU’s common trade policy on a more general level. The discussions thus differ from the negotiations at the formal meetings of the 133 Committee, which often result in concrete decisions on EU trade policy. The 133 Committee meets in accordance with Article 133 of the EC Treaty.
