Welcome to Växjö
Växjö municipality has received a number of international environmental awards over the past decade, and has been declared ’Europe’s greenest city’ for its climate goals and successful work to combat climate change. On 13–15 September, Växjö plays host to the informal meeting of ministers for agriculture and fisheries.

Kingdom of Crystal
The Kingdom of Crystal is an area of Småland famous for making crystal and glass. Encompassing 15 glassworks, all with their own styles and interpretation of crystal and glass, a visit here lets you see how the glassblowers gather the glowing melt from the furnaces and transform it into a myriad of beautiful shapes and forms.
