The meeting will focus on the current global economic situation, which includes issues such as the function of the banks and the financial markets, climate funding and IMF reform.

Minister for Finance Anders Borg will also attend the meeting.

The G20 was established formally in 1999 as a forum for the world’s largest economies to discuss important global economic and financial issues. For the second time this year, the G20, which consists of 20 of the world’s largest economies, meets at the level of heads of state and government. This time the meeting takes place in Pittsburgh.
