Competitiveness Council
Europe has a unique opportunity to lead the world towards long-term sustainable growth through a transition to an eco-efficient economy. The prerequisites are an efficient internal market characterised by openness and transparency, a sound corporate climate, particularly for small and medium sized enterprises, common consumer protection, reduced administrative burdens and free trade.
